After a 24-year career in public education, my wife Renee and I decided to resettle in Manzanita on the Oregon coast. We had fallen in love with the coast’s beauty, and for its opportunities for Renee to pursue her career as a professional artist. After living for 5 years in Manzanita, I have truly immersed myself in the community, by joining a number of local organizations, serving on several boards (CARTM, Pine Grove, NCRD, Vets for Peace, Manzanita Farmers Market), and volunteering my time and efforts in a large variety of volunteer groups. I have established a firm local reputation as a hard-working, enthusiastic, people-loving person.
